Love the location being able to wake up each morning overlooking the Sydney Harbour, love the pillows. Hard to find comfy pillows. Very cozy apartment. This is our 2nd stay here and will always be our choice. There are so many good restaurants below the hotel & ferries to go cruising to another place like Manly.

Sydney Opera House

You know a building’s got star quality when it appears in the logo of an organisation like UNESCO. The Temple of Concordia’s six-columned façade is the epitome of ancient Greek architecture, and it’s remarkably well preserved. Credit for its longevity has to go to Sicily’s 6th-century Christians, who spotted the temple’s special vibe and converted it into a church.

Take the ferries that go past the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge, especially at night. They're spectacular lit up. See a show inside the Opera House. The cabaret show in the small theater is a hoot. Just be aware it's rated R, in American parlance.

It’s a really good idea to take a guided tour of the opera house. The tour I was on was interesting and informative and a highlight was the fact our group was able to sneak into two auditoriums and view rehearsals.

What a fantastic, iconic structure.

What a fantastic, iconic structure. Did a tour which was very informative and took us all over the building. Despite all the controversy in its build, we are so fortunate to have such a wonderful piece of architecture in our country. It certainly makes the harbour! Also treated ourselves to dinner at Bennelong restaurant. The service and food were both exceptional and would definitely recommend if you can score a booking.

I am not a building tour person and I LOVED the tour of the Sydney Opera House (They offer plays, concerts, etc. and told us they named it the Sydney Opera House because Sydney Community Center did not sound as good! So they have a sense of humor!) They showed us how the lights and sound system acooustics complement each other. The designers were SMART and CLEVER to deliver beauty and function together. This was great and I highly recommend!

Book a small group tour of the Sydney Opera.

Book a small group tour of the Sydney Opera. You will love it!! Even better if you can follow it up with an evening performance. TIP: ask for a standing place which is completely fine and you will get fantastic view.

The hotel is modern and very fresh and in a very business like part of the city. Its staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you. The pool was great and the gym looked great too. Loads of little places nearby for food and drinks and a short walk down the hill to lavender bay allows for thee most breathtaking views over Sydney harbour and Sydney opera house etc. Public transport sport from this hotel is also amazing and super cheap too.

Firstly, the location was excellent. The hotel is situated in the famous Rocks area of Sydney CBD, which reminded me of old London. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to Circular Quay, where you can catch a ferry to any wharf of Sydney. We also stayed on the 4th floor, and from our window we could see the Sydney Opera House — truly awesome!
