Went here on one of my trips and it was very interesting to hear about it's history. The volunteer who was providing the narrative was very good, very knowledgeable and has obviously been doing it a while. The tour starts with the narration and don't remember how long it took but this is necessary to appreciate it's history. You can then walk through the tunnels and see photos. Even if you're a bit claustrophobic it can be managed. I would say to allow a good hour for this maybe 2. It's also a good escape from the heat outside if you happen to be feeling it.
