the hotel was super central to the forbidden City and had a grocery store next by. The rooms were modern and clean. The chief concierge Hank Yan helped us a lot with everything. He was such a nice an helpful guy, without him some trips would have been very difficult.

Let's start with the hard facts. The room was very clean and silent. The breakfast more than enough. The location is within a traditional chinese hutong (I loved it) and with a lot of Restaurants and Cafés around. The next subway is just a 3 minutes walk away. All of these facts are important, but what makes this hotel a special place is its amazing staff. Everytime, I really mean 24/7 they have a warm smile for their guests, helping them to deal with different travel issues. I really travel a lot, but I have never ever seen such a friendly hotel team like that. Unbelievable! So if I ever come back to amazing Beijing (hopefully will do) I already know where to stay again.

he staff is exceptionally helpful and very professional. I bonded with them Tom, Mia, Jocelyn and the others a lot. The shadow puppet art is beautiful and the staff puts in a lot of effort to inculcate in amongst the visitors and school children
