The concierge Mr. Stephen Poon was exceptionally professional and the best concierge we have ever experienced. Helped us a lot with calling the taxi, finding an address, picking up our luggage, and making our stay superb. He is literally running that hotel, helping with everything, there is no job beneath him, he takes pride in ensuring that every guest is taken care of and the hotel is immaculate, the men cleaned the floors at one point. He exemplifies what being of service used to be. He does a marvellous job also at training the young ones. Was amazing to watch him be that excellent of a service with everyone. The young James who checked us in was so gracious and helpful all the time and very professional. The staff there is just amazing. The hotel itself is superb, very clean and with quite big rooms, filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This is what hotels used to be, and Voco is still maintaining the standard of service by making one feel special. We even extended our stay twice. The neighbourhood is old China and quite an experience in itself. The cleaners are very friendly and do a great job. The menu for breakfast is extensive and caters to everyone. The price for the hotel was also reasonable in comparison to many so-called 5 stars hotels that promise a lot and fail to deliver. We will be visiting again, I am certain this is our new address away from home. We give it 10 stars.

Clean, courteous staff, centrally located, metro station and convenience stores are nearby. Special thanks to the General Manager of the hotel Ms Wuxia who went over & beyond to help us in our time of desperation with alipay not working, no cash in hand and communication issue with our taxi driver. We are sad to not have seen you again to thank you in person, your professionalism and grace with how you handled the situation leaves lasting impression and we cant thank you enough. Will definitely recommend this hotel to families with young kids as the hotel offers special rooms furnished with toys and other objects of interest for kids.

This was the start of our 2 week China trip, and without a doubt, the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The rooms are very modern and has everything you need from Dyson hairdryers smart toilets and handheld steamers all at a very convenient location. We were only here for three nights but would’ve loved to stay longer. Our experience was made even better by the very warm and detailed service provided by the guest services team led by Eric and Steven. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time starting with a transfer arranged beforehand. It was truly an above five star experience.

Everything was great as it had been every time before . Lovely big and comfortable room with great river view . Superb buffet breakfast plus a comfortable club lounge with very accommodating staff . Positioned in a lovely part of Guangzhou . There is not one bad thing to be said .
