Starting with the point of contact in WeChat - the lady was very helpful, as she knew English and also arranged transport from Zhangjiajie West to the hotel 10 hours before our arrival. After arriving at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the room - clean sheets, comfy mattresses. They clean your room everyday. The hotel is also 5 min away on foot from the eastern entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. Mountain View Guesthouse is also located on the main street, surrounded by multiple restaurants, where tourists can eat delicious local food.

We had a very pleasant stay here at this hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, even with the tatami beds we felt that it was cozy and the bed was spacious for 2 person to roll around. The rooms are clean and had all necessities, they even provided welcome snacks and drink for us when we arrived, and gave us a bag of extra snacks when we left! There’s a laundry washing machine for free available on the top floor. The staff were very nice and friendly, they ensured that we have everything we need and made us feel very welcome. I saw her patiently using a translator app to help non-Chinese speaking foreigners too. The location is just nice 10mins walk from the bus station, and about 15-20mins walk to the entrance of the park. We would had loved to stay longer if we can! Super recommended++

Amazing staff who gave us great recommendations on the attractions to visit. We had a very smooth stay and tours thanks to them. Very attentive and responsive ! The room was beautiful, very well furnished and very clean! Breakfast was good with mainly Chinese options.

We stayed three nights in Wulingyuan, and our experience was wonderful. The lady who runs the place was incredibly kind and helpful — she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She helped us buy the park tickets, and thanks to her, everything was super easy. The room was spacious and very comfortable, we could do our laundry at no extra cost, and there was coffee available downstairs. The location was also great — within walking distance to the park entrance. We truly recommend this accommodation 100%! The host’s kindness made our stay unforgettable.

A peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with stunning scenery—highly recommended!This hotel is definitely one of the best accommodation options in the city. The price is very reasonable.Pros:• Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the west entrance of the park.• Beautiful river and mountain views, very quiet with no traffic noise.• The lighting at night is beautifully arranged, creating a great atmosphere.Things to Note:• There are sightseeing helicopters nearby, which fly about three to four times around 10 a.m. It can be a bit noisy, but the duration is short and acceptable.• The hotel restaurant offers à la carte options, and takeaway can also be delivered directly to your room.Important Distances:• East entrance of the park: 10-minute walk• Zhangjiajie West Railway Station: 30-minute taxi ride• Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon: 30-minute taxi ride• Tianmen Mountain Cableway: 40-minute taxi ride

Not far from Yuanjiajie, convenient to get out. The hotel’s decoration is nice, the front desk staff are polite and can speak English, and the rooms are clean as well. Satisfied.

Ralph and his staff are exceptional: polite, very friendly, super helpful, and spend time explaining routes to follow for Tianzhi Shan, Yuanjiajie and Yuanjiajie. Room was cleaned and very comfortable. For its price, everything is beyond my expectations.
