In short - everything is top. As soon as you opened the door and you feel the odour from the inside you knew you were in the right place. Staff is nice; area is quiet; breakfast is outstanding. A Lidl is in walking distance from the hotel, as well as the metro.

This was a fabulous hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and personable. The little touches such as the drinks bar with an honour box were delightful. The room was excellently appointed and the location was great.

If you are looking to be in the centre of town and within walking distance to most of attractions, then Hotel Deutsche Eiche is for you! My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The highlights were location, while close to everything it’s in a quiet street so no sleep issues. The free mini bar is amazing! What a great idea, topped up each day it was awesome to come home and crack a beer. The rooms are large and well equipped, the shower is wonderful with lots of water pressure. The hotel has easy access to the trams and trains. There is a restaurant at the hotel and lots of cafes, bars and supermarkets close by. We also found a laundromat a 10 minute walk away which was cheap and good. An all round great place to stay!
