Perfect stay, very nice accommodation and extremely friendly and kind owners. Excellent and rich breakfast.

Swimming pool and sauna were great. Breakfast was very good, especially the Bircher Muesli. The room was quiet and big enough. Wi Fi was good.

Wonderful! Everything you need from a hotel. Wonderful people who care about what they provide. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect! Secure parking if you are on a motorcycle.

Staying at Hotel Central Garni in Triberg was an absolute delight — easily one of the most memorable and welcoming hotel experiences we’ve ever had, thanks in large part to Christof, the owner, whose genuine hospitality and great sense of humour went above and beyond the usual standard. From the moment we arrived, Christof made us feel truly welcome. He personally greeted us, helped with our bags, and offered excellent local recommendations — including local museums, the Triberg waterfall, and which restaurants to try. His knowledge of the area and thoughtful suggestions made a real difference in how we experienced the town. The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. Hearing the waterfall made for such a restful sleep! Breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh, plentiful, and served with attention to detail. By the second day, Christof already remembered our coffee preference and had it ready for us — a small gesture that meant a lot. What really made this stay special was the level of personal care. When I mentioned I was traveling by train, Christof helped with our arrival and even offered to store a bag after checkout for a later pickup. Triberg itself is a lovely destination, but our time at Hotel Central Garni — and Christof’s outstanding service — is what made the trip truly unforgettable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Black Forest. You’ll be in good hands!

Really good value for money (half board) in a small hotel on the edge of town. Room had views over the black forest. Great food - we would return if we ever went to that area for a longer stay. Friendly staff.
