This was one of the most interesting places I stayed on a bike ride from Berlin to Copenhagen. The room I stayed in was larger than I expected, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff was helpful. I had a safe place to store my bike; that is all I ever needed.

The hotel is the residence of the owner, which is a manor built in 1887, wherein everything is as it was at that time… you go back 150 years in time and can feel how life was at the twilight of the nineteenth century. The old Liselund chateau nearby is also another time capsule of the French Revolution era as it was built in 1792 and you can see everything as it was when the old owners fled the [guillotine] of the revolution..

    Beautiful but considering the lengthy and treacherous...

    Beautiful but considering the lengthy and treacherous journey including train, busses and the total of 24km walk just from B&B to and from the cliff on the road(there was no scenic hiking route from where we stayed), I don’t think it’s worthwhile. I would have had a better experience if I could stay in a camping/gramping site or the hotel 15 mins from the cliff.
