We like that the hotel is located in a nice and vibrant neighborhood. There’s no lack of good food and great boutiques to shop around the Le Marais district. It is also right next to the Bastille Metro making going to the museums and iconic places convenient. Despite that, Paris is very walkable and we have walked back from the places too! Everything was fantastic, the facilities, the staff, breakfast, attention to detail, proximity to the metro, and the restaurant is excellent.

Very interesting interior, if you're into comic art, this is a must visit. I just love spending time here, it's a hidden gem for "BD"-lovers. Staff is extremely welcoming and pleasant, breakfast is just right to start the day. 12 minutes from Gare de l'Est (good money exchange right in front of it), Metro just around the corner, restaurants too, but if you stroll south down the Bd de Sébastopol, you reach the shopping zone, the Seine and all those superb views within half an hour. I'm sure to come back. Bear in mind this is an old hotel, modernised and fantastically redesigned, but still the elevator has the size of making two users into lovers by the time they get out again and some bathrooms remind you of the times you didn't think abbout losing weight...
