Had a terrific short stay in a great old Inn. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Excellent dinner served up as well. Parking is on site. There's a Tesco very close by.

Great place to stay for exploring the area. We've been to Rhayader and the surrounding areas many times and this was the first time staying here, great to be right in the town so we could walk to shops, cafes and pubs. Elan valley just up the road. Hours drive to Aberystwyth. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We stayed in the apartment on the ground floor which made it easier with our dog. There are steps up to the shared garden. We will definitely stay again.

the apartment was very clean and tidy with everything you could need .the pub was just outside the door where the food was amazing and a good choice of beers and wines all at reasonable prices .the bar staff were friendly,chatty and very helpful with advice on the local area .next door to the pub is a park with a small river running through it ,perfect for a walk also the rhayder town was less then a 5 mins walk with many pubs,cafes and shops and with elan valley only a few minutes drive it was a perfect location

The location is fabulous, just a short drive from the Elan Valley. Perfect for exploring the local area. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the food is fab.

It’s a cheap, basic hotel and you get what you pay for. I got what I expected. The shower water pressure was strong and free hot drinks were a bonus. Food was good value and the staff were very friendly. It’s a great stopover point before exploring the Elan valley and the beautiful surrounding area. There wasn’t a car park on site but they allowed me to park my motorcycle in the corner of the beer garden.

Quiet smalltown. Perfect for walking tours. around the town, and a 10 minutes drive to Elan Valley. The host recomended "The Triangel" for dinner, and they had really good food. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Love to visit again.

The staff are very welcoming and the location is perfect if you want a base to explore the Elan Valley and surrounding area. The breakfast was tasty and just enough to set you up for the day. We ate at the hotel both nights and the food was excellent, very fresh and tasty and really well priced.

Fantastic little hotel in the heart of the Elan Valley and perfect for exploring the area by car or walks straight from the door. You couldn’t ask for more. Lovely comfortable room, toastie warm, immaculate and super clean. The chap (didn’t get his name) was really helpful Breakfast was delicious.
