The food was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Epic little pub in a lovely area, definitely worth the small detour. A great spot to spend the night to break up the journey. This was hands down the best accommodation experience we've had in the UK so far.

The castle was actually closed however the surrounding area...

The castle was actually closed however the surrounding area was so beautiful, idyllic and relaxing. You get a real sense of peace when you are on the island. The walks are amazing, you feel like you are on an adventure to another world. This was the first time I visited this amazing and beautiful Island however it is a place that I would like to visit time and time again. It has the wow factor times ten.

The cottage was beautifully well presented, very clean and tidy with everything that we needed. The guest book was very informative and really helped us. The location was wonderful, a few minutes walk away from Lindisfarne Castle and other places of historical interest. The views were superb 👌 We had a fantastic week away and definitely want to return 😀 xxx
