The rooms are incredibly comfortable and the staff are fantastic. Robes and slippers were provided. The toiletries were very nice. There was enough coffee, milk etc for our stay and a really good coffee machine. The rooms are nicely spaced apart so you're not staring into your neighbours room. It also feels very safe as the rooms are behind the marina gates with an access fob required. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights and the food was excellent. So were the cocktails! We enjoyed sitting on the private deck in the evening. It's only a short walk to the train station with regular trains into Cardiff and to Barry island. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, well lit room, good linens, everything was great for an overnight stay. I liked you could separate the toilet and bathroom using the door and that it had an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and safe. The internet was fast and connected without hassle and check in and registering a vehicle was fast. The area is good as well, its a bit of a walk to the city centre but Mermaid Quay is a short walk away as is The red dragon centre.

There are some very beautiful rooms in the hotel - the large conference room, like much of the hotel has wood panelling and ornamentation. it even has a balcony all the way around the room. Added to that it was the site of the signing of the world's first ever £Million cheque. The staff were happy to talk about the hotel's history. It is also comfortable and well positioned for the theatre / Opera house and Cardiff Bay. No more than a two minute walk from The Big plaza and Mermaid Quay.
