Amazing location so close to all the museums. Staff were absolutely exceptional, they were all so friendly and went above and beyond to make my daughters birthday trip away special. Afternoon tea was great, highly recommended booking in. We're looking forward to returning at some point next year!

Absolutely blown away by the architecture and entrance.

Absolutely blown away by the architecture and entrance. We thought this was an incredible building. Our kids loved the exhibits and they were well done for the interior. It doesn't really compare to the Field's museum in NYC, though. But we are really glad we went and would recommend it.

Very organised, exhibits are amazing especially the blue whale exhibit. A great experience and a must if you are visiting London. Donations are optional and you are not pressured to do this. For a free venue it really is fantastic.

The location is great, right in a park. The reception is open 24/7. Breakfast is available for £8 and includes bread, cheese, ham, fresh salad, breakfast muesli, boiled eggs, apples, yogurt, a croissant, and a chocolate pastry. Santander rental bikes are available nearby, making it easy to reach the Natural History Museum or the city centre along Kensington Street. The red and yellow Underground lines are also close by.

In England there's a tradition about museums as Alsace of culture, there are lots of activities devoted to kids. It is a place of interaction between objects and visitors and not only places to watch. If you have kids I suggest the natural history museum that is free as all the other Victorian museum, Tate, British, Albert....

National Gallery has nice cafe and afternoon tea at a reasonable price. Sundays at the Natural History Museum are mobbed with people with their children. Do not go on that day if you don't like crowds.
