Excellent room, refurbished to a high standard. Dinner was on Saturday night at the bar. Superb food, good value for what it was, well served in a vibrant atmosphere. Breakfast was served in a glass walled extension to the old building, by numerous staff and chosen from a varied menu and cooked to perfection.

Pontlands Park is located in countryside just 15 minutes’ drive from the M25 and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport. Built in 1879 the hotel features Victorian architecture and relaxed splendour.

I found all the staff welcoming and helpful from the outset ,, I emailed before we arrived with some requirements and all was accommodated ,, it was one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a short break ,, I would recommend it highly ,,

Helpful staff, stayed late to allow us to check in after midnight. Excellent breakfast and restaurant.

I literally cannot praise this property enough, it was perfect! From the genuinely friendly and efficient staff to the super-super comfy bed, it was a brilliant stay. We actually took pics of the labels for the pillows and duvet as we may buy the same, they were so comfortable. We will definitely be returning :)
