Extremely nice and friendly guests, the apartment is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Perfectly located between the beach and Paleokastro, we had a car but it’s also possible to walk there.

Two years ago, while vacationing alone in the area, I went to see this house and knew that our next vacation in Crete, this time with the family, would be spent here. It's the perfect retreat for four people. The property is large, with the house positioned to shield from the often strong northwestern winds. It has a great jacuzzi, a sufficient pool, a large grill, and a dining area, all complemented by a friendly and accommodating host. The house itself is located on the top of a hill, offering an incredible view of the surroundings. It's important to note that having a car greatly facilitates daily activities, as the distance to shops or the nearest restaurants varies (it's a 20-minute walk to the nearest beach and about 45-60 minutes to town, but only 3 to 6 minutes by car). The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious enough, and the house is equipped with everything you might need—and more. For example, there is a first aid kit and a sewing kit available. Upon arrival, the host provided us with his delicious olive oil (which we used up entirely, it was so tasty) and some basic food and fruits, including figs from his garden.

This is the ideal place to truly unwind and be surrounded with nature! Look no further, if you want tranquility ♥️🙏 a lovely small house and we will never stay anywhere else when we will visit this part of Crete in the future. Nikos and his wife are so lovely and thoughtful. They welcomed us with whatever we needed and more during our stay. The house is a labour of love. 💕

We were enchanted by the absolute serenity of the location. The villa itself was spotless, spacious, and exquisitely designed. The private pool felt like our own personal sanctuary. Waking up to such a view each morning was an experience we will never forget. The hospitality was exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, striking the perfect balance between discretion and availability. We felt truly welcomed. Kastri Hill is not simply a place to stay — it is a haven of peace, beauty, and refinement that captures the essence of Crete. We left with unforgettable memories and a strong desire to return as soon as possible.
