We were upgraded to the Rooftop Double room for the duration of our stay, which was very much appreciated. We loved the option for complimentary room service at breakfast - a very welcome and quite rare benefit! Especially useful all the way up on our top floor. This superb and generous breakfast (with lots of fresh bread and jams alongside whatever we ordered) was always delivered fresh to our door and with a smile. Sometimes, it even arrived a few minutes earlier than we specified on the breakfast forms which you fill out and submit to reception each evening. The location is absolutely superb - right at the heart of everything in Athens and yet somehow still quiet and peaceful in the room itself.

One of the best War Museums I have ever been.

One of the best War Museums I have ever been. From the ancient times to the modern times, it provides many information and exhibits, presenting many historical information, figures, battles, etc. It is worth a visit, especially if you like historical and military stuff.

The museum staff are personnel of the Hellenic Armed Forces, and do a very good job as hosts. I think there should be a way to bring in even more exhibits into the collections, as the history of Greece is full of armed conflicts. Maybe a new "call-to-arms" to private collectors?
