This hotel, by far, is one of our favourites travelling around Croatia. We stayed after a full day at Plitvice Lakes. The staff were welcoming and very accomidating. The hotel felt like a slice of heaven. The story behind the hotel was heartwarming, but also what they offered to the local community appeared very gracious. The bed in the room was massive, it was so nice to be able to have a really large bathroom with all amenities. The noise level was low made us feel safe and the staff made us feel rlvery reassured for our onward journey.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

It’s hardly surprising that the lakes of Plitvicka Jezera have inspired tales of fairy queens and mountain giants – this truly is a landscape full of magic. Make sure you set a whole day aside if you want to explore all sixteen of the interconnected lakes, and the longer routes that loop around the park’s upper and lower sections mean you won’t miss any of its exceptional natural beauty.
