10/10 experience! The resort is located just a minute away—if not right on—the famous Zlatni Rat beach. The staff was amazing, with excellent communication at the reception and always ready to help with anything. The cleanliness was also 10/10, not only in the rooms but throughout the entire resort, which felt luxurious in every way. Breakfast was well-balanced, offering cooked meals, deli meats and cheeses, desserts, and fresh fruit. The walk to Bol town takes about 20 minutes, but it feels more like 5, thanks to the stunning views of the turquoise waters along the way. The path is well-lit and very safe at night. A big plus: the parking is right inside the resort, allowing us to quickly unpack and head to the beach. The helpful staff assisted us with our luggage and made sure everything was in order for our stay. I highly recommend this resort to everyone. Whether you’re looking for peaceful, remote beaches or livelier, more social ones, you’ll find both within close proximity to the resort.

My recent stay at Hotel Bretanide in Bol Brač was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is breathtaking. The facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. I would like to give a special thanks to Šerif, the barman, and Dominik, the animator guy, for their exceptional service during my stay. Šerif's drinks were always refreshing and perfectly mixed, and he was always happy to chat and make recommendations. Dominik's energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and he kept us entertained with fun activities throughout the day. Both Šerif and Dominik are exceptional employees, and I believe they would make excellent directors in the future. I highly recommend Hotel Bretanide to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot in Bol Brač.

Zlatni Rat Beach

Set on the southern coast of Brač Island, Zlatni Rat – or 'Golden Horn' – is one of Croatia's most beloved beaches. This v-shaped spit of land is lined with pale pebbles and fringed by turquoise water and fragrant pine forests. Sunbathers and swimmers fill the shoreline throughout the day, while reliable westerly winds draw in windsurfers in the afternoons.

Make it a full day!!

Make it a full day!! So many places to enjoy food and drinks. The walking paths are amazing. We ended up watching the kite surfers and windsurfers for hours. Breathtaking. Clear water. Not too rough.

Zlatni Rat Beach is a livelier spot compared to the wild beaches around Sumartin. If you’re looking for refreshments like food and drinks served with great service, this is the place to be. The water is crystal clear, and the beach itself is absolutely stunning — truly a magical experience.

Lovely apartment really close to everything. Zlatni Rat beach is an easy 20 minute walk along a lovely shady promenade. There are several other beaches and swimming areas within 5 to 10 minute walk. Apartment is clean and well equipped. Very convenient for bars restaurants and supermarkets. Owners really friendly and helpful. We had a great holiday!

Beautiful hotel just a few minutes walk to the famous Zlatni Rat beach. We should’ve been staying at the Borak hotel next door but our reservation was changed by Bluesun. We had a lovely sea view room, very spacious and cleaned expertly every day. Great breakfast - best selection of dried fruit, seeds and nuts I’ve ever experienced and lovely homemade Bircher. Plus the usual hot food etc.

A modern, spacious and clean 2 bed apartment with lovely sea views from the balcony to the front. Very good facilities including kitchenette, sun loungers on the balcony and a swimming pool. Excellent location between Bol and Zlatni Rat beach. Very nice breakfast and Mel and team were brilliant and always helpful.

Great location, ten minute walk from Zlatni Rat Beach. It was low season so hotel wasn’t full making finding a sunbed by the pool and table in the restaurant very easy. Room and bathroom was modern, clean and well decorated. Reception staff very polite and efficient. Restaurant staff dealt very well with Gluten free needs.

Great apartments for the money, very good location near city center. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Air conditioning. 15 minutes walking to the Zlatni Rat beach, but we also liked Kotlina and Martinica beaches. Great communication, our apartments were ready earlier than check-in time.

What I loved the most about this place was the apartment itself – spacious, bright, and perfectly maintained, creating a true feeling of comfort and relaxation. Everything is well taken care of, making it easy to feel at home. Another huge advantage is the location – absolutely convenient and ideal. It’s just a short walk to the town center, and the famous Zlatni Rat beach, one of the most beautiful in the area, is also very close by. A perfect combination of comfort, great location, and easy access to all attractions.

The apartment was amazingly equipped, clean, comfortable and overall a perfect stay. The location made trips to Bol centre and Zlatni Rat beach super easy! Located uphill of Bol the balcony showcased amazing views of the Adriatic. Hana was lovely and super helpful, she offered to give us a lift from the apartment to Bol centre free of charge when we checked out. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Bol, it had everything we could need.

Zlatni Rat was a wonderful beach with the most perfect water. I layed on the edge of the water for hours as the cooling water and the hot sun made that edge the most amazing spot to sit in.
