- The hotel is located in a very quiet area, with old beautiful houses and ambassy buildings around, very close to the Heroes Square and Vajdahunyad castle. - The metro station M1 with direct connetion to city center is 200m away. - Large room, comfy bed, nice balcony. - Good breakfast, not too many options and no change in menu in the 4 days we've stayed.

Heroes' Square

With its huge 36-metre-high column, it’s not hard to spot Heroes Square. Take photographs of this iconic monument or wander around the Vidam Park, where you might stumble across a free outdoor event. In the park, you’ll also see the impressive Vajdahunyad Castle, home to the agricultural museum and a cheap enough attraction if you’d like to go inside.

Except that, few of heroes are Romanian's as origin who became governors first Iancu de Hunedoara and his son as king Matei Corvin, is a real history about ten tribes coming from Urals mountains and settled in almost actual land.

History, pageantry and pride is evident all around this area. Take some time to follow the tales of how and why this place came to be and you get a better sense of the people. The nearby castle and restaurant are stunning to say the least.
