We had a lovely time at Maskot. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The rooms are quite fresh and really well kept. Be aware the are not fully “sealed” so if you are afraid of the chance of getting small bugs in this is not your place. However, we just got the usual mosquito here and there but the is also a mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom is semi-outside. It’s great for ventilation and it’s also really fresh believe or not! There is a transparent roof so it is okay if it rains as well. The location is quite good too if you want to rent a scooter and explore the island because it is sort of in the middle. We could also rent a scoopy for 100k a day. There is a restaurant next door if you don’t feel like going for a drive to get food, but we didn’t try it so we can’t say if it’s good or bad. There is also a little shop just in front of Maskot where you can buy water, sunscreen, some snacks… The hosts were super nice and paid attention you our needs. They have a really convenient laundry service as well, done in the same day because they use the sun to dry the clothes. They cooked a simple breakfast for us every morning and also gave us some advice on where to go. Finally, they helped us book the ferry ticket and taxi to leave the island. We loved everything ! The cottage is well situated in the island, close from everything. The garden and pool are wonderful and the lovely family were so helpful, nice and very caring. The bungalow were very clean, lovely and confortable. We had a great breakfast every morning. Just perfect ☺️

We love this place. The location is perfect as you are just beside the Kelingking beach so you can be the first one to arrive there. The staff is extremely friendly and the food served at the hotel is to die for. Literally nothing to complain about this place.

Jan's recommendations were spot on, and each meal was a delightful discovery. Jan also organized some of the most memorable dive experiences we've ever had. His expertise and passion for diving ensured we explored the most stunning underwater locations, teeming with vibrant marine life. These dive trips were impeccably planned, safe, and offered a glimpse into the captivating underwater world of Nusa Penida. The on-site restaurant at Suwehan Beach Cliff House deserves a special mention for its exceptional culinary offerings. Each meal was a feast for the senses, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. The menu featured a delightful mix of traditional Indonesian dishes and contemporary cuisine, satisfying even the most discerning palate. Dining with the sound of the waves crashing below and the stunning sunset views added an extra layer of enchantment to our dining experience. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully designed.

An unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly kind, genuine, and attentive, and the owner went out of his way to help us whenever we needed. You can rent a scooter on-site to explore the island. I would absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back.
