It is a charming Art Deco hotel and our room was quite delightfully decorated in that style with a charming balcony looking out over the lake. The food in the restaurant was superb although there were few other diners in there which was a pity.
The personnel were charming and helpful.
Hotel Della Torre is a well-maintained, family-run hotel set just out of Stresa town centre and only 150 metres from Lake Maggiore. Enjoy pretty lake views from the gardens.

It's a very good 3 star hotel with accommodating staff and excellent food.
The Astoria is set on Stresa's lake-side promenade facing the Borromean Islands. It has a nice garden, and offers rooms with Wi-Fi access, satellite TV and panoramic views.
Hotel Pallanza is an impressive building with a 19th-century design, set right on the shore of Lake Maggiore. You can admire the view over a drink on the panoramic terrace.

The location of the hotel is very strategic, there was a parking space, very nice restaurant within 2 minutes walk.
We had a nice reception lady on the arrival.
Just 100 metres from the shores of Lake Maggiore, the Boston is located a 5-minute walk from central Stresa.

Overall, everything was fine. Comfortable, good breakfast, quiet, decent sized room.
But there were a few STRANGE things which could have been better. See below.
License number (CIR): 103008-ALB-00006. Set next to an old church, family-run Hotel Azalea is in Baveno,100 metres from Lake Maggiore and 400 metres from the train station.

Great location, directly opposite the ferry terminal for boat trips to the islands. Old town and many restaurant options right next door. Fairly large room with a balcony and a gorgeous view of the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast and coffee.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with views all around across the lake and picturesque town of Pallanza. The staff were charming and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The setting was peaceful and tranquil - just what we were looking for.
