Mauricio is the perfect host. He was extremely helpful in helping us set our plans for visiting Alba. He showed us a very convenient place to park one block away from the heart of the old city.
The B&B was absolutely beautiful. The room was very spacious and immaculate. Well appointed and comfortable. Modern very large bathroom with all of the amenities. We’ll definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
This B&B is exceptional, the room very very nice, well furnished and equipped (safe, mini-bar, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes, kettle, coffee machine). The quality of the sheets and towels is exceptional, only found in high end hotels. The breakfast was very good, very varied and plentiful. Lorena helped us find a good local restaurant even though it was late and hard to find availability. He also booked us a local wine tasting for the next day. Thank you very much ! If we have the opportunity to return to Alba, we will come back to you!
self check in, parking, communication with host, cleanliness, location (15min walk from centre), 2 balconies
Had a pleasant stay near the city centre of Alba, close to a supermarket and great restaurants...perfect for a weekend. The apartment was spotless and the host was very nice, giving seemingly complicated but clear instructions for self check in and tax payment.
There was everything we needed, except for the hairdryer (which I didn't check on the listing when booking and was missing, my bad).
A nice, clean, little apartment, located very beautifully in the mountains close to Alba with breathtaking view. It is in the house of the landlord, whose whole family is very nice and helpful, and who speak a decent English. They helped us to store our bicycles, gave valuable hints on nice tours, and also made some calls for us in Italian to deal with some cumbersome issues. They also have their own small vineyard.
Had the best stay at Cascina BELLONUOVO. Great location to explore Piedmont, especially Alba, Bra and Asti. The accommodation is so well looked after, beds are super comfy, the breakfast is traditional Italian, the aperitivo to die for as is their wine. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, booking our restaurants, providing advice and support We felt at home. Highly recommend.
Very spacious and has a very nice balcony and terrace. It has a designated covered parking space. What's more, it is only 10-min walking distance from Alba city center. But above all... The host is excellent! I forgot something in the apartment after the check-out and he went the extra mile to find it and return it back to me the next day. Very pleasent experience, highly recommended!
On a quiet street in the middle of old Alba. A gem of a small hotel in an exquisitely redone palazzo. Aptly named. Wish I had a pic of the painted ceilings to add to this review. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Endearing staff. Cannot imagine staying any other place. Why see historic Alba from a modern hotel when you can have a room in an aristocratic merchant's palazzo.
The property has beautiful views and is located just a few miles from Alba. Alberto was a perfect host and was available for any questions we had and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the local area. He even made us dinner one night because we were too tired to go out! We enjoyed talking with him and his father.
Great location and very friendly staff. It was a great base to visit the enotecas that have been established for the various wine regions in the area. The free breakfast at a nearby restaurant was great, as was the food at the restaurant associated with the hotel. We also really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room.
We were met by Maria. She was a little concerned that we might have parked somewhere where we would be ticketed, so she followed us out to the car to make sure we were ok. Nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic experience.
In addition, the hotel is in a great location for seeing the rest of Alba.
This is a near perfect place to stay while visiting Alba. The location is great for restaurants, shopping and attending the truffle festival. The apartment is also a wonderful place which met all our needs. The art work added a home feeling. I would rent this again and recommend it to anyone.
Such a lovely, charming place! Set on a panoramic hilltop above the city of Alba, with gorgeous views, also of the Alps in the background. The owners could not have been more friendly, or gracious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Really wonderful stay!
The staff here was so kind and friendly! The location was close to many restaurants and shops, but the ability to use bikes to get into the center of Alba was a wonderful addition to the stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the parking was safe and easy!
Great location - walkable to several restaurants in Alba. Very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was excellent - can add scrambled eggs to continental breakfast for no fee. Free parking. Clean room.
Hotel was extremely orderly, tidy, and well maintained. Rooms very clean and very well outfitted. Staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly, as well as professional. Location was ideal.
Very good hotel for visiting Langhe region. Convinient parking for a car available with no extra costs. A wide selection of food for breakfast. Very sort distance to main atractions in Alba.
Super spacious and comfortable. Was a close walk to everything we wanted to do in Alba, was really accessible. Magda was so friendly and nice and gave us great recommendations.
Breakfast was excellent. Location was good, 5 min walk to central Square.
Hotel includs free parking garage.
Rooms were usual size, a bit outdated, nothing special.
The property was large and clean and it was very close to the station. The owner was so kind. We could enjoy the truffles festival in Alba thanks to this property.
The apartment was very stylish and modern. It was extremely roomy and comfortable. It’s location was convenient for visiting Alba’s pedestrian only core.
