The staff was excellent, the owner Alessandro, was always on-site and took care of each guest personally. We strongly recommend the full board: each evening dinner was excellent and service impeccable.
The spa, pools, massage rooms are clean, not busy, and tidy.
But again, while the amenities are great, the experience was superlative because of the staff.
Hotel Passo Monte Croce consists of 2 buildings and offers lots of sports and leisure facilities including an indoor pool and wellness center, plus a ski elevator right in front of the hotel.

What a place! Breathtaking views from the balcony. We didn’t want to leave! Wonderfully located if you have a car and want to hike around the area located in and around Cortina. We went for several hikes, including the Cadini di Misurina (which had gorgeous views of the Tre Cime). We traveled in first week of June and there was still a lot of snow and our family of three (including a 9 year old) had a great time. The stay at Joas and the hikes in the Dolomites were the highlight of our 15 day stay in Italy and Switzerland. The town of San Candido, a 8 min drive from the hotel, is a wonderful place for dinners. We had dinner once in a local restaurant recommended by Joas staff but were not very happy with the meal. If you want to savor local, rustic, no frills cuisine, would highly recommend Weisthaler restaurant in San candido where we ended up going twice during our stay.
