Location, great view, helpfulness of the staff (at the counter and in the breakfast room). Any desire (an additional blanket, a special coffee...) were instantly met and with great friendliness. A warm water boiler, cookies and coffee and complimentary bottle of water and soaps were provided.

I’ve been to many 5 star hotels around the world, but I have never seen such amazing staff! Thank you so much Ivan, Marco, Cristina, Ana and all other beautiful people whose name I don’t know. The best hotel that I have visited in Europe yet (I have quite a broad experience). Charming antique interiors with modern equipment. All is clean, and all is envisaged in the bathroom, including slippers, vanity kit, lotion and sanitary bags. The location is perfect.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at the Casa Verardo hotel and we’d highly recommend it to other travellers. The hotel is conveniently situated only five minutes away from the San Marco square and the San Zaccaria vaporetto station. It was therefore easy for us to quickly reach the heart of city while also being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the somewhat remote street, where the hotel is located. The whole place has a charming atmosphere and the interiors are beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental, with sufficient choice of sweet and savoury foods, including some gluten-free pastry as well. I especially have to commend the hotel staff who were all incredibly friendly and helped us with everything we needed, including allowing us to keep our luggage at the hotel for a few hours after checking out. We look forward to coming back at some point for sure!
