Great location to visit Rome, not only for trains/metro (Termini) but there are several bus stations nearby and we ended up using buses more than the metro. All staff was very kind and helpful. The room was big (we had Junior Suite), very clean, fresh, cozy and warm (we went in December). Very good breakfast (quality over quantity).

We absolutely loved our stay here. We got there by taxi from Roma Termini and was a short drive. The hotel is situated walking distance from the Spanish steps and tons of shopping. The room was fantastic. We had the junior Suite (hotel gave us an upgrade for free!). The styling of the hotel was very modern and the amenities matched! It was so spacious. The room also had a super comfortable bed. Lastly, the tv allowed for easy streaming of our series and movie favorites. The staff was super friendly and helpful. On our last day we had an early flight and they even packed us some to-go breakfasts. Speaking of breakfast, it is a must!

Villa Borghese

A grand setting for an unbelievable collection. This 19th-century palatial depot was built to house the ginormous collections of the Habsburgs. Among its current 30 million artifacts, you can peruse a multitude of meteorites, a dedicated dinosaur hall complete with Diplodocus skeleton, and the delicate Venus of Willendorf fertility statuette dating from 25,000 BC.

Still a brilliant set of galleries.

Still a brilliant set of galleries. Need to book in advance and Is worth getting a guided tour to explain some of the masterpieces. The surrounding park is a haven of peace in the noise and bustle of Rome. If you are really after peace and gardens, take the metro and then the bus out to the Villa D'Este and its gardens at Tivoli. They are a bit hard to find when you get to Tivoli as they are tucked away behind the main square. If lost, just ask a local.

If going to the Galleria Borghese museum , it is a pleasure compared another crowded museum. You can book in advance directly online with the museums authorized partner. Do not get involved with resellers. You can get the ticket from the link on their official website direct vendor. Just be sure to do so when time slots open about 2 weeks before. Do not be late for this reservation though. Get there in advance and walk around surrounding park. They may not let you in if not punctual. If you like Carrivaggio and baroque art you will love this place once let inside for your 2hr window

Stunning art!

Stunning art! Be sure to purchase entrance tickets ahead of time since they have a great concept filtering smaller groups throughout the day so that the art can be enjoyed and experienced without overcrowding. Also, be sure to make time to enjoy the cafe..delish!!

The Flora room was spacious enough for a couple and well equipped with everything one might need. We appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, water, and bathroom amenities. The accommodation offers good value for money (just keep in mind the tourist tax of EUR 6 per person per day). The location is convenient, close to Villa Borghese, with easy bus connections to the city center. Valentina was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception even after the self check-out time. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay!

This is our third or fourth visit to Villa Borghese - Sofitel. It is an excellent hotel for many reasons (clean, good location, etc.) but the staff are what make the hotel exceptional. Gabriella, Elena, Paula, and others in the restaurant and Angelo and Ana at the front desk stand out.

- Location: close to the center and Villa Borghese, bus stops 2 minutes walk - Communication with the staff: all information about registration, keys, doors was shared in advance. The ladies are very responsive and kind! - The room is small, but clean and comfortable - There is a coffee machine and mineral water in the room. There is also a shared kitchenette where you can make tea, use a microwave, get some fruit and candy
