amazing place- we were there in April and it snowed our first night! we managed to get half a day on Happo when it opened (it shuts due to wind a lot) and then a day on 47 which was incredible. Not a lot of restaurants open as it’s end of season, and a lot seemed to be booked out (small local Happo ones). We always managed to find somewhere though although would have preferred more Japanese options!

Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort

With the snow season lasting from November well into spring, Hakuba Goryu's ski resort gives you plenty of time to get a grip on the slopes of the Northern Japanese Alps. In addition to snowboarding, there's a ton of other winter activities here, including mogul courses and night skiing. Very family friendly, it's the perfect place if you want to enjoy some seriously good powder on the mountain with an authentic Japanese experience waiting for you back at your lodgings.

The hospitality from John and his colleagues was top notch. We were made to feel very welcome and all our needs were addressed with care and attention. The location was excellent, a short walk from Hakuba Goryu ski resort and a few different restaurant options. Breakfast was good and so was the shabu shabu at dinner.

The room was nicely updated with lots of space, a big bathroom, and heated floors. It's located just across the street from the bunny hill lift, and another couple minutes from the Iimori Lodge at Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Parking was available beside the hotel, though you definitely want a snow-capable vehicle to comfortably access this area.

Location is inside the hakuba goryu ski resort that’s mean you can also go to hakuba 47 use your ski gear.. escal plaza just at the next door… also the hotel provide free shuttle to go to supermarket everyday on 5.40pm and the hotel can pick up you at hakuba goryu bus stop on the date when you arrive also sent you to hakuba goryu bus stop on the day on the date when you check out…
