Very nice hotel. It was the first hotel room in Japan that had decent lighting options (the name of this hotel is perfectly chosen). Also the walls were thicker than usually in Japanese Hotels, so that I could sleep without earplugs. Everything inside the room was carefully placed and it was very relaxing to sit on the little "couch". Even if the room was small, they were enough space for all my luggage to be placed in a tidy maner. The shower was great, too! The café/lounge area between the bookshelves was very cozy. The free welcome drink to try that area out was a nice touch. The staff was young and friendly. :)

The Onsen in the middle of Nara was wonderful. After a long walk, was good to relax in the onsen at night which was always filled and ready. Location was amazing.

The staff who can speak English was very helpful since the day I have arrived at the hotel until the day I checked out. He helped me set the navigation system from the hotel to the other hotel. If I have a chance I will come to this hotel again.
