Rooms are very spacious, location is (relatively) quiet. The hotel is one train station away from the centre of the town. The ride takes 5 minutes and it's 3 minutes walk from Kitanagase station to the hotel. The interaction of the hotel staff with guests is minimal. You don't need to pass through the reception, you get a chip which enables you to enter through the side door 24/7. There is a lounge on the third floor where you can get tea, coffee, extra towels (should you need them), some dishes ... There is even a privite washing machine in every room.

This was certainly one of our best hotel experiences in Japan! Upgraded our room to the suite when we were there- because the courtyard was so beautiful. For design lovers, the attention to detail was immaculate and such an inspiration. The balance of traditional architecture and modern design was breathtaking. Opened only 6 months ago! What a gem. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. We got Japanese breakfasts on both mornings instead of the Western. To get there, we took a bus from Kurashiki station to a bus stop 3-5 mins walk to Yoruya.

The room is spacious and tidy, it's about 2 2-minute walk after getting out of the Kurashiki station. The staff is very friendly, especially, Haruka from the front desk is easy to communicate, and provides a great service. I recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Kurashiki.

This small 4 room hotel was fabulous! there's Cafe Kitsune right next door, and few steps away is Korakuen Garden and a boardwalk alongside a beautiful river. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with a big balcony and our son loved it.

The castle is beautiful, surrounded by lush, mature trees...

The castle is beautiful, surrounded by lush, mature trees and a well-maintained landscape. Like most Japanese castles, it is well-preserved. Walking around the grounds felt very peaceful. There is public transportation available, or it’s a 30+ minute walk from the train station. I arrived late in the morning during the heat of summer, so there weren't many visitors. I had the opportunity to explore the area almost by myself. I recommend visiting either early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the heat and sun, as there aren’t many shaded areas.

Good location. 10 mins walk from the station. 20 mins to Okayama Castle and Korakuen garden. Staff were helpful when we needed extra things. Aircon in the room could be set to a low temp (18). Curtains weren't far off being blackout, a comfortable nights sleep. Onsen was clean and pretty good for a business hotel, lovely outside area to relax. Would stay again.

Convenient little apartment next to the main train and bus stations. Convenience stores, restaurants, post office, and large shopping malls are all in short walking distance. Also you can walk to Okayama castle and Kōrakuen garden in about 30 minutes. Our apartment on the 4th floor was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, fridge and freezer were quite large and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. The building had an elevator which helped a lot with our suitcases 🙂. Staff was very polite and helpful.

A lot of space on 2 floors, big living room and very big beds. Overall quite clean and a very nice space for relaxed evenings with friends. Only a very short walk to Okayama castle and Korakuen gardens, if you want to live nearby this apartment is perfect. You can have the authentic experience to sleep on a futon bed, even though they are quite hard.

The interior design is nice, everything is clean and new. Got all the things needed, i.e. kitchenware, tableware, toys for children. Location is great too, a short drive to city centre and Okayama castle. Also got free parking! It is a very lovely place to stay, will choose this apartment again if visiting Okayama

The location is the best, so close to Okayama castle and Korakuen, less 10 minutes walk, enjoyed the nice stroll and autumn special lighting show at night. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel, which made it so easy to get there from JR station. Restaurants and shopping street nearby, hope I had more than one day to explore.

Really spacious for a Japanese hotel; plenty of space to move around and for luggage. Room was clean and front counter staff was friendly and helpful with our requests. 5-10min walk to Okayama station and about 20min walk to Okayama castle. Plenty of machines for washing and drying.
