Hotels near Senjogahara Field, Nikko

My stay at Ritz Carlton Nikko was simply fantastic. Put a tremendously passionate, dedicated group of people through a world-class Ritz Carlton hospitality training program and you get service that's nothing short of perfection. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, it's facilities (both spa and public onsen) were amazing, and food was thoughtful, delicious, and wholesome. My wife and I could not have asked for more and yearn to be back in the, hopefully, near future.

It was very clean, the facilities were new and fresh, the staff were really friendly, and the dinner we were served was delicious - we had not expected it to be so lovely!

The hotel is in oku nikko which surrounded by nature. If you love nature or snow in winter. This is a perfect place to stay. Outside Onsen also surrounded by snow but unfortunately we cannot see the star that day.

We wanted to go again and visit Nikko, but this time with our "daughter", the dog. Nice area indeed, the facilities are really fine, and although we didn't use all the facilities, like the dog run or the others... We enjoyed the stay. The personnel was incredibly helpful and kind, really great staff. Our room was typical Japanese, slept on a futon, which is my kind of "softness ". The room included WC and bath facilities. If you are there you have to make time to use the in situ Onsen, the sulfur water comes directly from the hot spring, you can actually visit, not far off... It's just fantastic to relax and tone up your skin. The hotel also has a buffet type restaurant, it is ok, simple but good. The Buffet is also prepared for the furry companion/s so in the big room, among the tables you will see many happy families with furry children 🤓🤣🤓. The place is good.

Great value for money. The hotel is in the superb location for all activities of Oku-Nikko. The terrace is just as it looks on the photos. The rooms are spacious, good-quality beds, everything is kneat and clean. The rooms are warmed up before your arrival! The hoste are very hospitable and kind people. I really appreciate their friendly attitude and help. They gave me very valuable advice to make the maximum of my trip and get to the station on time. Matsuya-san, thank you so much! I didn't want to leave and really hope to come back again.

Great location. Comfortable and clean accommodation. The staff person was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. Good location, walkable to many sights and cafes.
