Exceptional site. The hotel, a hanok, is in a pieceful and beautiful environment. The staff is extremely helpful, the host is a very elegant person and passionnate about the hotel, the korean history. There is a welcome tea which is highly appreciated, and the opportunity to have a dinner according to old recipies ( mode than 500 years) that have been modernized by the chef chose family did write the cool book. Amazing peaceful historical hanok stay, we loved our two night stay at Okyeon Pavillion. The Korean breakfast was delicious and was a great start to the day. Seunghwan was a lovely host and was very accommodating. Highly recommend staying here when in Andong to experience a piece of history.

Fantastic structure, in excellent condition and very clean despite its ancient history. We were the only guests and we could enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the place, the calm and the evening silence and turn undisturbed to the village. The very kind owners also helped us for reservations outside the village.

The village is amazing. The house/complex is in the highest part of the village. All buildings have been preserved for more than 300 years. The family's attempt to preserve all buildings in its original state has been very successful. The host is an amazing person with the ability to transmit the importance of preserving his heritage as a communal (rather than individual) experience. The food was delicious and the surroundings soothing and restful.
