The staff was amazing. There is free coffee and water. Laundry is for free. 7eleven is a couple minutes walk away and highly recommended, especially in afternoons when the lady is working. We woke up around 4am and walked 30ish minutes to the NP (which is free) to avoid the heat. Bus stop a couple of minutes walk.

The bustation really is close to the hotel and you can reach the national park via bus within a few minutes. If you arrive in Sokcho late in the evening you'll have to take a taxi to the hotel though, since the last bus towards the hotel leaves around 7:45 pm. But its not expensive. The hotel owner is really nice and the rooms are comfortable, we enjoyed our stay there!

It was clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Free laundry service, 7-11 nearby, super close to bus stop. The place is not modern, new or flashy, but clean and well maintained. Cold water and hot water available to refill bottles. Free wifi. Comfortable common area and cool art works and Korean calligraphy, a big wall shelf of books. Also, as it was not peak time, the owners upgraded us to a bigger room as I was travelling with my son. So kind!!! 🫶

It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

Seoraksan National Park

One of the country’s largest national parks, the peaks of Seoraksan stretch for miles, scattered with mist. The valleys of Gayadong, Suryeomdong and Baekdamcheon meander past waterfalls, temples and the odd historic fort. Trails weave their pretty way through nature all year but autumn’s foliage and winter’s snowfall make the ideal photo backdrop.

Spacious room in a modern hotel in Sokcho. The location is good, around 5 minutes' walk to the express bus terminal and with good bus connections to Jungang Market and Seoraksan National Park. There are also food options and amenities nearby. The breakfast was great, the rooftop pool was lovely, and the staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful.

We booked deluxe room, which was like an apartment - very spacious, had a bedroom area and dining area, also it had very spacious bathroom with shower and a bath, which might be a bit too small for 2 persons, but it was still very nice 🙂 Staff was very friendly and helpful, location is great - walking distance from express bus station, easy to get to Seoraksan National Park (ride with 1 bus, station is near the hotel). Overall we are very happy and recommend this hotel 🙂

Location was perfect for us; we arrived at the bus terminal, which is located close to the hotel (a 5 minute walk down the same street). We stayed in Sokcho to visit Seoraksan National Park; the bus stop is close too. The hotel is fairly new, so feels fresh. Room had a good size with more facilities than we needed, the balcony was a nice plus. We also got a good restaurant recommendation, where we had one of the tastiest dishes of our trip.

Great value, well located hotel in Sokcho. Easy to access from both bus terminals, to travel to Seoraksan National Park and Jungang Market. Would have given a 10/10, but room was advertised as having a lake view, which was not really so. This does not take anything away from the great facilities, staff and value for money.

Good value for money. Very nice English speaking front desk employees. We saw the hotel’s CEO mingling during breakfast and helping her employees. Very clean. Breakfast buffet with Korean and European food. We used a taxi from here to Seoraksan National Park, about 20 mins drive.

Everything was perfect! The room and bed are big and confortable with a very nice view, all the amenities are new, high-end and clean. The breakfast is good and big with a delicious cinnamon roll and a croissant and they nicely allowed me to have something else than coffee. The bus to Seoraksan National park is just in front and you're close to the beach and city markets. Best hostel I've experienced in Korea, I will definitly come back if I go to Sokcho again.

We got a very special deal which was real value for money. They allowed us an early check in at no extra charge. Also the location of the place made it ideal to explore Seoraksan National Park as the bus runs from near the hotel right up to the park main entrance.

Very kind and friendly host who was very accommodating. Breakfast was simple and delicous: Toast, cereal, coffee. Room was clean and shower was hot. It is a great location next to Seoraksan National Park. The bus Stop Sokcho District C is right next to the hotel/hostel and about 15 min from the park entrance.
