We arrived at the property later than expected but Anne was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean and all the amenities required were available. Special mention for the mild clove scent in the room.

My wife and I stayed at the Warden's House in December and I must say, we had an absolutely amazing time. The property is stunning and is set on 7 acres of land with a beautiful riverfront. The rooms are large and tastefully done. The staff at the property really made our stay very special, Kelum and team made sure that all our needs were met, both at the property and while on safari. The Safari was one of the highlights of the trip, we visited Yala block 5 which was much less crowded than the other areas of Yala, we were treated to a phenomenal sighting of a leopard as well as lots of other birds and wildlife. I cannot end this review without mentioning the food, this was the icing on the cake. The chef performed his magic at every turn with amazingly scrumptious meals.

It's a private house facing a small stream and a field. It has a good bed and a/c, nice view from the window, private bathroom, a small kitchen with cooking equipment ,fridge and a basin. The main centre of this city with the bus stop, restaurants and bar are only a few steps away. The owners are kind. They were always ready to help if we had any questions or concerns. Its very near to lunugumvehera national park in which you can go safari without disturbing the jungle creatures too much as it's less crowded than many other crowded safari parks around. It is one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Excellent host, delicious fried rice from the restaurant for dinner and lovely breakfast. She arranged a fantastic safari. Great experience, highly recommend!!

Ms Danushka was so accomodating and even we arrived late, she helped prepared dinner for us and didn't costs that much. She had 2 cute large dogs who followed us and were so friendly and curious. Ms Danushka also helped to book for Yala National Park with jeep safari (pricey for the safari, but i guess that's the standard price) Definitely recommended and i wish we could stay for more nights.
