We enjoy our stay very much, Located between rocks in such beautiful way. Peaceful and relaxing, pool was cold and refreshing . The staff spoke english finally we had some conversation since not many speaks english. And they were just great really friendly and attentive . The food was good , just nothing bad really . Incredible place for a relatively good price. We were almost alone which helped. Bungalows are stunning, with an insane view on the desert in front. Beautiful terrace in front of your bungalow to watch sunrise and sunset. Showers are amazing and warm. Cleanliness is incredible. Food incredible, seems like a high end restaurant. Staff is super nice. Really an incredible stay in the middle of Isalo National Park.

Beautiful garden with the extra of a swimming pool, simple but clean and comfortable bungalows. A very relaxing stay to recharge and enjoy the exploration of Isalo. Very kind and helpful staff. The restaurant has very good food including vegetarian options and local wines. Good wifi in the reception area. Walking distance from the village. Beautiful views of the sunset and the night sky.

The ranch is stunning, with amazing views of the mountains and just a short (car) distance from the park entrance. The rooms are very spacious, super clean, and equipped with everything you need. The staff is lovely, Wi-Fi works perfectly in the restaurant, and the pool is just what you need to relax after an 8-hour hike. We also used the laundry service — we dropped off our clothes in the morning and they were ready, perfectly folded, by the afternoon. Impeccable! And I still can’t forget that delicious mango jam at breakfast. Another pleasant surprise: they actually clean the rooms daily, which is quite rare for a 2-star hotel.

Isalo Rock Lodge is likely the best accommodation we got in nearly a month across Madagascar. The rooms are well designed, clean, spacious and with a luxury feeling reflected for example in the huge font-window hot tubs facing the rock formations. Service is up to standard for a 4-star hotel. Swimming pool area is really a plus (even in winter time).

Beautiful and spacious bungalows, each with an amazing view overlooking the national park. The friendly staff were able to bring my dinner to my balcony, so I could enjoy my meal while watching the sun set over the mountain range. The rooms were clean, and good quality blankets and towels were provided. Excellent value in my opinion! The owner, Aurelien, is an experienced travel guide and is very knowledgable about the area surrounding Isalo as well as the rest of the country. I had some very last minute travel plans that he was able to help me sort out by ringing a few of his contacts. Honestly, I would reccomend coming just to speak with him! He is incredibly accomodating and you can learn about a lot of great attractions in madagascar while sitting around the campfire with him. Breakfast and dinner were served with large portions, and they are able to alter the dishes to your requests. The team also prepared a packed lunch for me for my hike in Isalo, which saved me a lot of money and hassle! Location is fantastic, just a short walk from the busy main street in town, and you will pass the guide office on the way. Highly reccomended.
