Spacious room with great view over the pool and bay, restaurnat options were delicious and great, pools were beautiful to swim in with a great view as well. Walk over the hill to the beach was also very nice. Perfect spot being so close to the Gozo ferry for an early morning trip to Gozo as well.

The family rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is plentiful. The hotel kindly prepared a generous breakfast bag for our early 6:00 AM departure. We couldn’t enjoy the pools due to winter, but they should be very nice in summer. The location is excellent. Free parking is available, though it’s tricky to use: five floors underground and suitable only for small cars

Solana Hotel offers modern rooms and studios with free Wi-Fi access, a 10-minute walk from the beach on Mellieha Bay. The rooftop terrace with pool is a real highlight.

The Solana Hotel is hands down THE best hotel in Malta - The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, in every department. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated with bathrobes, fruits and chocolates. The food in Prickly Pear and Bellini Restaurant was amazing, it tasted great and fresh!
