Staff was suuuper friendly! The hotel is very easy to find, located at walking distance from public transport system. Close to museums, but you can reach other parts of the city walking. The room was confortable. The smell of the hotel was great, whenever we walked in. The staff responded quickly when asked via booking and their tips really helped me during the stay.

The hotel has 2 areas, old and new. First the hotel personnel offered for us a room in the old area. We booked a Premium Room and expectations were high, when we saw the room we were very disappointed, pictures attached. However after our friendly conversation with the check in personnel we moved to another beautiful room with balcony and city view, that side of the hotel is just WOW. So if you book a room ask for a room in new part of the hotel. Breakfast was beyond reality.

I had such a lovely stay at the Apollofirst Boutique Hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with a handwritten note and a sweet treat — such a thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for my stay. My single room was tiny but incredibly cozy — beautifully designed, spotless, and full of charm. You can tell that everything here is done with care and attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, served in a relaxed, homey atmosphere that made every morning a pleasure. The staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely kind — always ready to help and make sure everything was perfect. It’s a place that truly feels personal and full of warmth, more like staying in a charming home than a hotel. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

The location was extremely convenient since we had booked only a night for a concert in Melkweg which is right behind the entrance. Overall the price was fair-ish for the facilities you get (I paid 63€ for a night for two). They also let us leave our luggages after check out so we could go out and have breakfast which I always appreciate very much! The hairdryer worked really well and I liked the mirror as well as the view we had of the street.
