The view from the room. It is just nearby metro and bus stations, shopping mall and the sea coast. The staff was really helpful, replaying to my requests pretty fast.

Nice, clean room. Big comfortable bed, with firm mattress. Helpful staff. Breakfast included in the price. Gluten free options for breakfast (you must ask the staff). Location, walking distance from airport and metro station. Free shuttle from hotel to airport every 15 minutes. Ambient. Option to leave the bags while waiting for check inn or the flight. Refreshing fruit water in the lobby and all the small details that they leave for you in the room.

Probably the nicest hotel in this price range and category I've ever stayed in. The concept is similar to 25 hour hotels, if you are familiar with the chain – trendy, boutique style, but a chain nonetheless. Felt like a safe haven after a long trip. Staff is young, but does a great job communicating with guests of all ages. The room is small, but thoughtfully designed, with multi-functional furnishings. Breakfast was good, the bar a nice place to hang out and the small gym a bonus. Everything was spotless. I often pass through Lisbon for a few nights, and despite not being a scenic Lisbon neighbourhood, I like to stay at Oriente: Close to the airport, the shopping center and food court are useful, as is the giant Continente supermarket and the river front. As it's a small capital, you can still get to the city centre easily.
