The location was very good - underground station very near as well as good bus service to all the attractions. we also walked to the Avenida da Liberdade which is a really posh shopping street, The staff was absolutely wonderful : both the reception and the cleaning ladies were helpful and polite. The atmosphere of an old converted tenement house plus all the modern facilities make this place an unforgettable experience.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, close to the city center. The staff was delightful and always ready to assist. I loved the design and style of the hotel, including the music in the lobby, the color scheme, and the food. Every aspect of the hotel is thoughtfully designed and exudes creativity. The technology side is a huge, multi-floor space holding the original electrical plant the powered Lisbon back in the day. A virtual maze of machinery. A must for engineering types. The Art Museum has a fantastic exhibition of Jeffrey Wall photos, well worth the time. Also has a wonderful bar and restaurant with great views of the water.

This place does everything it says on the tin - in spades.

This place does everything it says on the tin - in spades. From the minute you walk across the roof, then drop down to the entrance, all the way through the modern museum and then along into the old power station it's a feast for the senses.
