Lovely hotel on main square in lovely town in the country side. The room was big and comfortable, the price was quite high but all and all we were satisfied with our stay.

A great place to stay in for families. A unique hostel with interesting history, located in a region where Astrid Lindgren's books are a living story. Owners where very helpful and made plenty of recommendations on what to visit in the neighbourhood. A very well equiped and organized kitchen. Kids had planty of space to play. Parents also had a cosy library to relax in.

We only stayed there for one night passing through Vimmerby. Very friendly host Clean, family character Super ultra mega breakfast buffet. Cereal fresh baked bread fresh fruit jam self made smoothie for my daughter specially made... And plenty of tips for our further trip through Sweden Ahead again Ankis!

    THE place to stay- right in the town square. A beautiful historical building and easy walking distance to the wonderful Astrid Liindgren World and House/Gardens. There’s even a miniature version of the hotel at Astrid Lindgren’s World.

    Nice location, 10 mins walk from Astrid Lindgren’s World. Booked a cabin with 2 bed rooms. Enough for two families of 2 adults and 2 kids. The dinner buffet is quite good. A mix of freshly made Thai food and pizza. 3 different Thai dishes, 3 different pizza flavours. Breakfast basket is also good, with buns, cheese, jam, butter, black coffee, milk, yoghurt and müsli.

    The property is perfect for holiday with children. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the property itself is very spacious and children friendly. The houses were quite cosy and the shower/toilet facilities and kitchen were close by. They were clean and well equipped with everything that might be needed. If going with children I would recommend joining the tour about the farm and visiting animals- it was very nice. Our main destination was Astrid Lindgren’s world and it was about 10 minutes by car from the property.
