I've been to hotels in many countries, in the most prestigious destinations. I've a good base to judge the hotels. There's plenty to like about this one! The location couldn't be more central of the Old Town is your interest. It oozes of charm. Breakfast was sumptuous and tasty. Interiors were stylish and functional, room was huge. Electronic window shutters were a nice touch. The view was awesome. Bathroom was impeccably clean, stylish and bright. Classy. The lift was a positive surprise, I didn't expect it. Staff was helpful and professional. This is a very nice boutique hotel and I recommend it to anyone.

Great location, comfortable, great breakfast with eggs made to order, common tea/coffee room open until 10 pm they also tend to have cookies and croissants from breakfast. Jure (I'm not sure if I got the spelling right) was great help and gave us recommendations for the best restaurants and route to walk for sightseeing and Christmas markets. We loved those huge automatic wooden doors 😀

- Staff were super helpful to book local taxis for us to save significant costs after checking out by returning to the airport. On the way to the hotel, we paid around €60…on the way back we paid between €35-€40 so this saved us some cash. - Location is amazing as it was leas than a 5min walk to the river flowing through the city and to see all the main sights. Very well situated to get to the local bus and train stations, 10-15mins by foot if deciding to go to Lake Bled for a day tip. - Breakfast was the best! Guests can choose off a set menu, 1-2 courses if they wish which was very nice to mix it up day-by-day. The food we tried tasted very good and great start everyday!

Get there early for the best atmosphere and opportunity to...

Get there early for the best atmosphere and opportunity to buy items - it officially closes at 4pm but people were packing up over an hour earlier when we were there early on in the week, so I think it depends on the weather and footfall etc.

Very nice place!

Very nice place! It is a "classic" market with indoor and outdoor shopping places, very nice and fresh food everywhere (fruits, veggies, meat, fish, cheese etc). One can even buy handmade crafts as well. There is also an area for street foods (maybe because of Xmas).
