Hotel stuff is really amazing and so friendly! Views to the sea and to Galata tower from Grand Deluxe room are so wonderful that you don't even need to left the room to enjoy the best of them. One of the busiest area in the city with everyday events on the squere near Galata University in front of your window, but noise insulation is so perfect that you need only close the window to enjoy the silence🙂 Entrance to Şişane metrostation in only 5m from the door!

I’ve been coming to Istanbul for over 15 years and it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Location is super convenient, walking distance or short taxi / tram / boat ride to all sites. Breakfast is exceptional. Excellent olives, cheeses …. The view from the rooftop restaurant is one of the best in town. The staff was super helpful and attentive. Harun at reception and Serken bellboy took great care of us on check in day, they stored our bags, offered us tea and even sent a what’s app message once the room was ready. Serdar looked after us on check out date. Everyone was super helpful, booked the upstairs restaurant for us to have dinner on our last night and arranged transfer to the airport. We really needed it after 3 days waking around Istanbul

Galata Tower

Medieval Galata Tower pierces the clouds above Istanbul’s skyline, a soaring sentinel to the north of the Golden Horn. A replacement for a previous tower that was destroyed in the crusades, this one was built by the Genoese in 1348. or hundreds of years, it was the tallest building in Istanbul – and its uppermost balcony still offers unrivalled city views today.

While the tower is great vantage point, overlooking the entire Golden Horn, the admission tickets are quite expensive and the place is crammed with crowds. If you decide to visit anyway, aim for the 30min before sunset

It's good that they have installed a set of lifts to get to the top of the tower. So you are not walking up too many steps. Best to get there early or towards sunset to see spectacular views with the mosques and the sea across Istanbul.

The apartment is in an excellent area where it has great transport links to other locations in Istanbul. It was a surprisingly quiet apartment considering how many cafes, restaurants, shops were in the locality. A couple of minutes from Galata Tower and walkable to other tourist areas. Communications with the agent was good and responsive.

I loved the charm of this Marriot hotel centrally located in Galata. A wonderful breakfast with a view was served in a different building a very short walk away. Galata tower was close by and was beautiful at night. The hotel was close to the Galata bridge and public transport. Great location to get around Istanbul.

Cozy and welcoming small hotel right next to legendary Galata Tower - for an authentic Istanbul experience. Rooms are clean and nice, but keep in mind that it can be quite loud. It gets quiet right after midnight. (We slept perfectly well!) Ideal accommodation for exploring city and its famous nightlife. Breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant, it’s good and you can eat and observe Galata Tower. And last but not least - the stuff is amazing, very friendly and helpful!

Lovely modern hotel, lovely room with large french windows and a fabulous view of the golden horn and galata tower. Location is great as the T5 tram is over the road which is 2 stops to eminonu, whereby you can travel to anywhere in Istanbul by ferry metro tram or bus. Rooftop terrace with an even more fabulous view and all night coffee shop on ground floor. Surrounded by a few restaurants and shops. A lot of traffic because on a roundabout but not noisy as its laid back from the main road. Very safe area. Good value for the price we paid

Very nice location in central Istanbul, Beyoglu district (European side), in a modernized old building. We had a nice ensuite room with separate bedroom and small living room. Water cooker and fridge (and minibar) provided. Hotel is short walking distance from Sishane M2 metro station and Galata tower. Good selection of restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The receptionists at hotel were very helpful and friendly. They provided a list with restaurants, if which we have tried a few.

Miapera Spa Hotel is in a perfect spot—just steps from Istiklal Street, a short walk to Galata Tower, and easy access across the bridge. The room was small but cozy, and the bathroom looked just like the photos. Staff were friendly, though the reception lacked basic local knowledge (like airport bus directions). Overall, a good base for exploring Istanbul.
