From start to finish, the staff were first class all the way and made our stay. They were thoughtful, attentive, and anticipated every possible wish with a smile. We truly could not think of a single thing they could have improved. The hotel is full of charming details and the room is both cosy and luxurious which is a pretty hard feat to pull off.

I've been dreaming of staying here for years and finally splurged for my birthday. It was worth every penny. I was upgraded to an ocean view room, and was sent chocolate covered strawberries and prosecco, treated like a princess, and provided perfectly professional, warm, and courteous, brilliant service. Thank you to all the staff, especially Angel at the front desk for all your kindness on my birthday. The room, the bedding and bed, the view, the amenities, the bathtub, the working desk, the lighting, all were tasteful and well designed and incredibly comfortable. Don't change a thing. Also loved the plush bathrobes, and all the resort extras, from free bikes on loan, to a local car service, to complimentary drinks, to morning yoga, all included.

The hotel is brand new and so beautifully appointed. The staff were abundant and helpful. The location is great and has private beach access. The pool was warm and views gorgeous. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with everything you could need. There is a cinema room with hot chocolate and treats for families - unfortunately we were not told about this at check in but discovered for ourselves on our last night.

Rides are pricey, better to get wrist bands If wanting to do more rides. We had a meal at the burger place- it was sooo good! Decent prices and friendly staff. Arcade is a massive waste of money, can't believe how crap that was. The ferris wheel was so great - we really loved that.

We parked hoping to walk down the pier and a local gentlemen told us that our luggage etc was not safe in our rental car as desperate people can smell a rental vehichle and will smash windows to get into it. He also went on to say that these people have skateboards and will take people out at their ankles on boardwalk, just to steal their bags. Scary place-we left. I'm sure it's beautiful but scared us.

MUCH better than Venice Beach (Venice felt seedy and unsafe to our family of 4A & 2C). Santa Monica Pier has a fun park, which looked great (we did not go on any rides but did check them out). There are food places on the pier that are of average quality. Walking along the pier in the June summer heat was beautifully refreshing due to the ocean breeze. We did have a strange incident with the male restroom up the further end of the pier; when my husband and son tried to enter the male facility, they opened the door to a naked man (possibly homeless due to the amount of personal belongings with him). Needless to say, my husband and son did not use the restroom, but luckily, there were others in the fun park. The lady's restroom on the far end of the pier, across from the naked man was, was clean. It is a good experience to go there. I don't think it's necessarily someplace you would spend a great deal of your time, but definitely, something to tick off your travel list.

The best hostel I’ve ever been. All is new and very clean, and decoration is so cozy. Even shared bathroom it is very clean, there’s floor towel at the bathroom, liquid soap disposal, hairdryer. The staff are very polite and helpful. Hostel is able to receive packages and stuff you need to be received at the hostel. It’ very close to Santa Monica pier, it’s possible to get there by walk, the location is perfect.

This hotels location doesn't get much better, you are right on the beach as soon as you step out of your room. And what's great is it's just a short walk to the Venice shops and the canals are just around the corner if you're feeling a bit more adventurous you could even walk to Santa Monica Pier. Just make sure if you're arriving in the car you book a car parking space at the hotel since there is nowhere to park.
