UzbekistanI must say, this hotel exceeded all my expectations! The staff, especially Bru, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Bru was incredibly attentive, always friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning in the future.

Go see it up close!
Go see it up close! You can really see how tall it is and why the monument was considered the tallest building when it was first built. Didn't get to go inside, but you can sit around it (on grass or benches) and just admire the entire area. Especially on a sunny day, it is just so beautiful. Go during the day and go back during the night when it is lit up. Such a different experience - both are great!

The room was comfortable. the bed was clean and had plenty of covers. The mini fridge was large enough for my short stay of a few nights. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure for the shower and nice linens. The TV had plenty of channels. The location was very walkable, a bit farther from the main attractions (washington monument, etc) but in a nice neighborhood (Logan Circle, Badgen Alley). The staff was very friendly and helpful with finding parking for my car. Continental breakfast was kept warm and well stocked.

The location is great for access to The National Mall and other attractions. It's right behind the Spy Museum. We were able to walk (definitely got our steps in!) to most things. The breakfast buffet is good with a lot of choices, hot and cold (was included in our stay), but pricey for breakfast. Our room was spacious, could see the Washington monument from our window.

Hotel and restaurant staff were friendly, the restaurant at the hotel had good options and great prices. They had a live band playing Saturday night - that was awesome! I liked the hallway decor, and the room was adorable! I loved the funkiness of it. I had a GREAT view of the Washington Monument - I loved keeping my curtains open night/day so I could enjoy the view. It was a great room, I had an excellent stay. I will happily book a room here again when I return to DC.

Very comfortable rooms and central location. Dozens of nice restaurants in the area and not far from the National Mall. The view of the Washington Monument is incredible. The Vue Rooftop has a nice vibe and it’s right upstairs.
