The hotel staff were amazing. I forget my phone on a bus tour and the front desk staff who were working on 13 April 2025 at 8 pm helped me track down the tour company operator and retrieve my cellphone. They were quick to act and really made my trip special. The hotel is new and very comfortable! I enjoyed my stay

The location is pretty central. The front office staff was helpful on recommending things to do around the Old Quarter and city centre. They also helped me to booked airport transfer and it was reasonably priced. The hotel very accommodative by allowing me to checked in early without additional charges even though I arrived few hours before the check in time. The breakfast was great and great variety of food. The room was clean and quite spacious. The air conditioner can be adjusted. Hot water pressure was good.

If you're reading this review, go ahead and book this place without a second thought. Loved everything about this place. This is located in the heart of the bustling Hanoi market area with access to everything you need. The staff, particularly Lily, were amazing. We planned to stay one night, but ended up spending three nights. We booked a day tour to Ninh binh with their help. In fact, we were traveling to Da Nang after Hanoi and Lily helped us book a highly customised tour in Da Nang for Bana Hills which saved us a lot of time and travel. While we were checking out, they gifted us a cute Vietnamese couple magnet set which we thought was a very heart warming gesture. Whenever we come back to Hanoi again, we know where we'll be staying :)

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth...

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there. There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness. Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.
