Charming and modern design enchants a visitor at the first glance. The hotel is suited close to the city center, within walkable distance, however still providing silent haven, where you can relax by the poolside, after exhausting sightseeing or a tour in scorching tropical weather of southern Vietnam. Internal design and cleanliness makes you feel like being in a movie with Richard Gere. Nothing less could be said about a room, both cosy and aromatic. Special note is to be made about hotel's staff. These super friendly people would help you with anything, extremely polite and always available, speaking from my personal experience as we have encountered medical situation demanding a doctor. Thanks to these qualified personnel, It took no longer than 10 minutes from staff being notified until a doctor examining us at the nearest hospital. Definately recommend to have a dinner or a drink at least, at the rooftop bar! We would be honoured to visit the Mai House Saigon hotel once again!

The location is right in the center with all kinds of activities mostly within walking distance. The Hotel seems to be quite new and well maintained. The staff are very attentive and try to help wherever they can. A special thanks to Ms. Mai and Ms. Huong who were very helpful in organising trips and to find our way around.

Definitely a must visit, despite some very graphic exhibits of the sad and horrible things that happen in a war. But many inspiring exhibits too, telling stories of courage and resilience in awful circumstances. Very interesting hearing the North Vietnamese side of the story,of the Vietnam war.

There was so much beauty in its ugliness. Very emotional, if not touched you are not human. No winners here, many lives lost, destroyed, scarred forever. Yet they stand proud today, kind, generous, humble and beautiful.

Bearing in mind you can't un see what you've seen, this could be a very upsetting place to visit. It's filled with killing machines and artefacts along with pictures of death and mass destruction, some with children.

Sad, lots of the photos are quiet graphic and very confronting. Found it interesting and if you enjoy history and want a cultural experience definitely visit. If going with younger children avoid Level 2 and 3 exhibitions as graphic photos. The helicopters and b52 planes from the war are down stairs outside and they enjoyed that. Lost of younger kids. My teenager found it very interesting but also confronting.

An absolute must.

An absolute must. Try to visit here before doing the Tunnels tour. Stuff we didn't know about in Australia. A real eye opener on a shocking time in our history and particularly the history of the US

Mostly photos.

Mostly photos. Of course it only shows the point of view of the Northern Communists- but I think it is good to review the point of view of each involved party. For the point of view of the southerners in this war, head to Texas or California and visit the Vietnamese refugee expatriates.

The hotel is set in a great location for a tourist in Ho Chi Minh city. Walking distance to Ben Thanh market and the war remnants museum, amongst wider sites. The breakfast and afternoon tea are of very good quality with a really good, multi-national food selection and set in a restaurant with unique decor and a good view. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The house was close enough to the War Remnants Museum, Book Street, souvenir markets, and plenty of vegan restaurants. There was a family mart right outside the alley. The owner gave free laundry service for people who stayed for more than a day. There's a parlour right on the ground floor if you need some pampering (for a charge, of course).

It is in a great location the presidential palace, war remnants museum, notre dam and the old post office are all a short walk from it. Plenty of places to eat round about. Staff are really nice and the rooms are clean. My room didn’t have windows but that wasn’t an issue for me.
