I loved riding around west lake visiting obscure coffee shops, playing cards and board games with friends. A beautiful sunset over the lake is amazing to capture. It is a nice walk from the Train Street if you don’t mind...
It is a nice walk from the Train Street if you don’t mind dealing with millions of scooters. First you stop at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and from there you have 15 minutes to get to the lake. You will walk through the very nice neighborhoods where most embassies seem to be located. That is two bedrooms and a very big central space with fully equipped kitchen. It is on the waterside of west lake. Here and there the rooms could be a little better maintained and also could do with some beter cleaning of the bathroom. Parking in front is a challenge, but that’s up to the taxi.
