Such a beautiful relaxing stay and we got an upgrade rooms and food are amazing

We arrived with a warm welcome from Vanessa. She realised we were here from Australia and she was flying an Australian flag! Very comfortable and quiet. Thank you.

The accommodation suited us immensely. The host family could not have been more kind or friendly. The flatlet was serviced every 3 days and there was a regular supply of fresh linen. Our clothes were laundered. Load shedding was frequent, but the hosts were supportive with lighting, heating and gas. We had a lovely little kitchen, a barbecue and a balcony available to us. The beds were warm and comfy. We had access to a garage which was very convenient especially in rainy weather.

-Vermont is a quiet suburb of touristy Hermanus and Oude Schuur guesthouse is the best place to stay if a romantic/quiet/peaceful stay is what you seek. Also, its location is close to Salt Pan, and the quiet and green residential area is the best if you are a bird watcher or in general enjoy nature. It's a 10-minute drive away from Hermanus. -The 'Suite with Mountain View' room is a fantastic choice for a luxurious stay with Karen being the most amazing host. She and the staff do their best to make you feel at home. -The exterior was the best part with a grand balcony running along the room overlooking the pool and garden. The interiors in the room are very tastefully designed and maintained well. Extreme comfort is taken care off. -Breakfast is perfect with lots of customizable choices. -Wifi was good and other amenities and facilities were well maintained. It has ample parking space. -Karen's suggestions while exploring Hermanus were indeed very helpful.

This was an incredible stay, one where we felt at home from the offset. The facilities were exceptional and we had everything we needed to rest and recharge during our stay.

It had everything that we needed very convenient.
