I hosted an event at the hotel. The allocated venue was perfect. The set up was great. The food and beverages were excellent! The venue and refreshments really added to my event being a success. I organised the event over email with Tabita, the process was seamless. The service I received from Thabiso and Lethabo was professional and efficient. They took care of everything. Great venue, great service!! Everything was outstanding!
My room was clean, inviting, spacious and relaxing. Perfect stay away from home.
Breakfast had lots of variety and everything was delicious.
Reception staff were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful.
I don't think I will risk staying anywhere else when I'm in Bloemfontein!
Thank you

I went there on a business trip, but loved the whole experience! The Bloemfontein community great you with a smile and are humble. The business community value your time and are grateful for the efforts put in to meet with them.
There town is rich with history and old buildings used for office space. I loved the old buildings with original oregan pine floors and pressed ceilings. The clean double roads are easy to navigate.
What started as a normal business trip ended with me feeling energetic and humbled by the experience as a whole. I'll be back Bloemfontein!

We were pleasantly surprised by Bloemfontein.
We were pleasantly surprised by Bloemfontein. It is clean and neat. The Botanical gardens are absolutely beautiful. Extremely well cared for - definitely worth a visit. Oliewenhuis art museum is free (R10 parking fee only) and lovely for a visit and a picnic in the grounds.
Nice restaurants; good malls; traffic not too bad at the time we visited.
I'd recommend Haru Sushi restaurant.
Tempe golf club at the Tempe Military Base (open to the public) was an unexpected find - cheap round of golf on a nice course.
Disappointed that the planetarium visitors centre doesn't seem to be open, most days of the week; it only opens for special viewings.
Naval Hill worth a visit - friendly ostriches and beautiful views.

I lived in Bloem for 9 years, it was great in the 90's.

Unfortunately, the city has deteriorated massively.
I would not go to Bloemfontein for leisure or tourism.
It is central to stop on the way to/from somewhere or if you have some work / business / family-event to attend to.
Great place to shoot a dystopic movie seen!

I love the city and especially the fabulous friends and family who live in Bloem - not exactly a holiday destination but defnitely the place to visit for cricket or rugby games.
Traveling around is easy and getting to Bloem is very easy on the highway
What a stunning guest house where everything, from the peaceful and amazing setting to the tiny detail (like a Nespresso machine in the room) exceeded my expectations. Melani is the most welcoming and friendliest host that walks the extra mile for her guests. It is like staying in paradise. You will not leave untouched by this unforgettable experience. I can't wait for my next visit and will most definitely recommend staying at La Belle guesthouse on your next visit to Bloemfontein.
Excellent guest house with very good facilities. Just the thing for an overnight stay en route to our final holiday destination. Nicely sized rooms and I love the coffee plungers in the room which makes for a great change from the instant coffee normally on offer in guest houses! I have returned here several times, and I have booked my family again for the return trip. I see no need to go anywhere else in Bloemfontein.
We enjoyed the modern, neat and spacious self catering unit situated in a beautiful and safe area. The staff was so friendly and ready to assist whenever we needed them. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the lady assisted us despite of the time of arrival, I'd definitely recommend and book the place again when I visit Bloemfontein.
It is a beautiful room, exactly like the pictures. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely make it our home away from home when we visit Bloemfontein. When we booked our stay we didn't check if it was animal friendly, and our hostess was so kind she made it possible for our little puppy to stay.
The manager and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist with everything we needed.
Well equipped room with very comfortable bed.
Quiet and peaceful.
We had a lovely breakfast.
Blue Rain Guest House comes highly recommended - a gem not to be missed when traveling via Bloemfontein!
The Hotel is situated in a good quiet area , not a lot of traffic. There was serene places around the hotel that 1 could go walk and have a look. Beautiful hotel garden. Security was excellent, no complaint at all for the security and being safe
We stayed in a Family Suite - a Double room in one room and 2 singles in a separate room with a shared bathroom.
Our suite was inside the hotel with a more Lord of the Rings feel, which was cute.
We loved our room and the breakfasts.
Andries is sweet and welcoming. It's his home too and he makes it his mission to make sure that you feel like part of the family. Even the dog is welcoming. I have found the only place to stay at when in Bloemfontein.
Elmarie is the perfect host...the Unit was Excellent....we will definately stay there again on our next visit to Bloemfontein.
Bloemfontein itself was a shock though...it looks dirty and Broken...so sad to see.
This was our 3rd stay at Anta Boga Hotel. We have enjoyed it each time we have been there. Really nice hotel and the staff are very helpful and attentive.
