Beautiful hostel up in the mountains. You need to take a moto taxi or 4WD to access the accommodation. One of the staff spoke English and was extremely helpful, providing information on the hostel and how runs. The lodges are comfortable with charging points, and a view. Stayed here for 3 nights and it was superb! The location and the views are stunning and the ‘nest’ was very bright and cosy with a great big glass window to enjoy the view. We had all food made for us and it was truly delicious made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Daniel was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, including last minute requests. Thanks for a fantastic few days!

For bird lovers this is paradise. Plenty of nature around to see many local and migratory birds. If you like just trail walking, this is a nice option. Trails inside the reserve make it a wild and excellent experience.

The team is kind and helpfull 🥰 and if you don't look for confort after a treck for exemple, the place is in the middle of the forest which is nice.

Linh is a great host. He just started hosting people and don't expect it to be a 5 star hotel, but if you are looking for a refugium with a lovely person who shares it's place, you are right. There are all kind of birds around and the entrance to Tayrona is just across the street.

Its hard to explain how peaceful and beautiful this little spot is. Lots of wildlife sounds at night and very tranquil feeling. Kind and helpful hosts. Gati and Julio were great and the dogs were adorable and sweet. Super close to the park entrance and they provide breakfast so you can get up and get hiking quickly. The spring fed pool is great to cool off in when you get back from hiking. If you get up early and take a walk to the park there's a decent chance you'll see monkeys on the trail.

This is a very unique experience that you do not easily get else where! From the bottom of the mountain going up and until you get down again after your stay, you are fully covered into jungle, tranquillity and no-tourism. Out of the real world and back to nature. The way up is challenging, so do not expect a real road and you have to be in a good shape! It is done by bike dudes that bring you to a certain point up and you finish your way up by yourself. The stay is not a normal stay since the hosts Juan Pablo and Marcel take care of you as a family. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner (for extra cost) for all the guests with the organic food from the jungle and everyone is relaxing, making music, chatting and eating together. But no worries if you need some privacy, the houses are very nice, build as it used to be in a jungle and the dome is a very unique experience in the forest. You can do some hikes in the surrounding area at the waterfall where you are the only one. The stay is sustainable, organic and self-sufficient, so you drink and shower with the mountain water and the toilet feces are used for the surrounding area to grow plants. If you have a weak stomach, I recommend to bring a big bottle of drinking water.

Excellent, very comfortable double room, very clean, good shower and quiet. Incredible views, was able to see so many exotic birds. A small place so easy to meet people Free water provided Easy to get to the property and i walked back from the town twice, it's uphill but if you're fit it's not hard. Moto taxi is 5mil which is good for arriving with a rucksack. Very friendly staff and owner Very good breakfast and coffee, cater for those with dietary requirements which is a big thumbs up. Will definitely return here, it's brilliant.
