Amazing place with great and extremely helpful staff that helped us with organising transport to Sigiriya and safari in Mineriya; great breakfast; such a friendly relaxing vibe of the whole place; cold pool (highly appreciated); nice surrounding area in nature, yet close to the city. We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

A Wonderful Stay at Jungle Edge Home Sigiriya Located just outside of Sigiriya, Jungle Edge Home offers stunning views of Pidurangala and Lion Rock. The views from the balcony, overlooking the surrounding area, were truly breathtaking and made for a peaceful spot to relax. The resort provided a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry, and it was very delicious, adding a special local touch to our experience. There were also small discussions about Sri Lankan culture, which enriched our stay and provided a deeper understanding of the region's traditions. The environment outside the resort building was peaceful and serene, offering a perfect backdrop to unwind. The resort also facilitated a friendly safari to visit Minneriya National Park. We were able to see a number of elephants, and the experience was absolutely beautiful. The park's natural beauty and wildlife made for an unforgettable adventure. All in all, the resort’s staff were incredibly helpful, and no request was too much trouble. A truly lovely place to stay!

Most fascinating thing about this property is it’s location and the view. Sunrise and sunset view is just amazing!! Friendly Staff, Quality and reliable service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are also super clean!! Overall it’s really worth for the money and will definitely visit again!!

    All was excellent . We loved the family who looked after us while we stayed. They cooked for us every evening with the best food we have eaten while in Sri Lanka ! Delicious! The breakfasts too were delicious with lots of variety! The room was spacious and had great aircon and was extremely clean. The family organised tuk tuk drivers and safari jeeps too. The lodge is a little out of town but so quiet away from the noise of Habarana, we were so happy there.

    The lovely chocolatecakes we had when we arrived on our bicycles😁. The family was very helpful in organizing things for us like a safari and a tuktukdriver for a day who drove us to Dambulla, Pidurangala Rock and to our organic cooking class in Sigiriya (which we found on reisjunk).. Manike Lodge Is a very quiet place, which we loved very much.
