Great homely stay an hour drive away from Auckland. Angela is super friendly and makes you feel like home immediately. Cute location in a quiet area, with sheep nearby and a nice backyard with a heated pool. Highly recommend to stay here for an escape from the city or on the way up north!

Everything is Perfect, the house and the room are extremely confortable and our hostess Ângela is a very nice person. She showed us the shoppings near the house and helped us to buy the bus Card.In the room she had left lots of food for breakfast or even an afternoon snack, it was so sweet and lovely!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Punga Lodge! The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a peaceful retreat. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless – we felt right at home. The staff truly made our experience exceptional, especially Dyan. She was incredibly friendly and her hospitality was top-notch. Lovely lodge, with beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay, everything was great. Feels like a paradise away from busy Auckland, very calm and relaxing. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the ocean. There is also a little kitchen and outside grill if you want to cook own food. The beach (Little Oneroa) is only 5 min walk down the hill, while the Oneroa town (where you can find bars, restaurants, Four Suqare…) in 15 min walk from the lodge. The bus connections on the island are very good, there are several buses that will take you to the ferry terminal (10 min drive).
